circa 1948, with concentric 7 1/2in. internal barrel, air chamber stamped 'ABAS MAJOR,' cocking lever stamped 'REG DESIGN 845425, A.A.BROWN & SON B`HAM' along with 'PROV PAT. 845425' and the 'ABAS' logo, serial number stamped to cocking lever and back strap, smooth brown bakelite grips, strong amount of original blued finish remaining; COMPLETE WITH its original box, gummed instruction label inside lid, distressed with some water damage to exterior label
